Please note that all dance classes have an age requirement, experience requirement and teacher recommendation requirement. Please sign up accordingly. All students must still consider themselves in high school to participate in classes. Returning 2009/2010 HST dance students should sign up according to the age requirement, experience requirement and teacher recommendation (sent to each class in May 2010). New students (or those that took dance from HST in previous years) should sign up as follows: Ages 8-11 should sign up for level 1 or 2 classes on Tuesday. You MUST keep both time slots open as each new/returning students will be evaluated on the first day of class and adjustments will be made. If the teacher determines that you have signed up for the incorrect level you will be assigned to the appropriate class on the same day. No refunds will be given if time change is inconvenient. Please contact HST if you are uncertain of which level to sign up for. Ages 12 and up should sign up for Broadway Jazz or Broadway Tap on Wednesday.
HST reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment. HST’s Showcase Show is Friday April 1, 2011 at 7pm & Saturday April 2, 2011 at 2:30 and 7pm. All classes will perform one dance in Showcase (except for Dance Intensive which will perform two dances in Showcase). |

This Intensive class is an audition based program for previous Jazz 4 students who are at least age 14 on December 31, 2010 and have a strong dance background. Students will advance their skills and learn the history behind ballet, jazz, modern and other cultural dance styles while working on their dance performance skills. |
